The turbos have never had more than 10psi. I woudl ahve gone past that but I dotn have the upgraded fuel injectors so 10psi is about the limit until you get those. 10psi on these feels a bit better than 14psi on the stock turbos.
Not sure what else to say about them. Theyre ready to throw in and have fun =)
Ill get them ready to ship out to ya tomorrow morning.

my initial email Okay, what's your address? Do you have pictures of them, I would like to make sure before I send you $1250 that they are in new shape as you say. I just dont want to buy them, and then find out that they need to be rebuilt, not sport500's, or have been driven very hard. I hope you understand. Is there anything else you can tell me about them? I have been burned before, and I am trying to avoid that again. Thanks...

as you can already tell, his line about new in box and never installing them is bullshit. He had installed them and he stated that there were legit SP500's.
More emails back and forth about shipping and what not.. I get them, and the wastegate actuator is messed up. It's at this point I ask for my money back, he tells me he doesn't have it to give back (can't find that email, I have it somewhere). I then start to wonder if they are even real sport 500 turbos, and go on a quest to find out. Next email thread: again, his reply followed by my intial email: Re: Sport 500's

Interesting stuff...I was beginning to wonder if Id hear back from you.At any rate, if he says they are not Sport 500s I have to believe him. He
sold me Sport 500s and as far as I knew that is what I had.
I didnt modify anything, but I see what your saying... Well aside from all the babble, Id prefer to not get back into the arguemnt

again, well, hopefully you won't have to soon enough. With that being said,
it's taken me forever for people to get back to me. Where to start. Okay,
first off these turbos' are for 100% sure not sport 500's. I talked to the
guy who sold them to you, he said they are sport 500 like, but not at all
sport 500's. So right there you have misrepresented what you sold, I should
get my money back from you right off the bat, but I will try and look past
that and come up with a different solution. Chad I think is his name (the
guy that sold you them), told me that brand new these cost $1400 for the
pair. Now I gave you $1,250 for a pair used turbo's because I was under the
impression that these were JWT sport 500's like you listed them as (which
sell for $1,800 new, not $1400). Believe me, if I would have known I could
have purchased these turbo's you sold me brand new for another $150, I
would have.

People don't always represent what they are selling correctly. I am not
saying you lied on purpose, but what you sold me, is not what you
advertised, period, you can't argue with that, so please don't try to.
Maybe you really didn't know Josh, not going to speculate that. Let me know

I just read your post on tt.net, looked at the pics.I have to say, your engine looks absolutely amazing, I loev the paint/color
scheme. Im glad to see everything worked out ok, and since I hadnt heard
from you in a while, etc I thought Id just send you an email and let you
know Im still here; I told you Id stick to what I said, and I will. Very
worst case scenario, youll be compensated as late as May(graduating then), I
just dont have any money right now. Anyway, hopefully everything is copasetic, I really wish there had not been
a problem but it seems to have all worked out ok. Take care and have fun! =)

That was pretty much the last time I heard from him. Except for when he emailed me accusing me of telling people not to trust him when he was parting out his car, which I didn't, in retrospect, I should have. About a month later the turbo in question, the one that had the messed up wastegate actuator started burning oil like crazy. It was blown with less than 1500 miles on it. The wastegate was basically stuck so it wouldn't open and release the pressure properly when I got it. Who knows how long it had been run like that, I spent the money to fix it, but it was pointless, the damage had been done. The real kicker is, when I bought REAL JWT Sp500's, they wouldn't take those as cores because they were not stock, so I was out the core charge as well.
So in short, it's in my opinion, that he has no integrity and is a dick.
